Earth's Day

Hola fella Earthlings!!!!!

For those who have been hiding under the blanket of  ignorance, today is "Earth Day" . For those who are like me and  wondering what day and month it is, the Earth day falls on April 22nd. Who cares? I care and if you do not care much, our kids will be living in an even messier planet. Don't you think it is not fair to them? Here are things you can do without much strain!  

• Shut down/Switch off your lousy laptop/computers/chargers/TV when you do not need them. Come on guys, how much effort does it take? 
• Ensure the taps are closed well. 
• The "tube lights" who are still using BULBS, throw the bulb out and get CFL's. 
• Karnataka  Govt observes "bus day " . Take bus once a month.  Less traffic jams, less pollution, less Global warming etc etc. Please participate.
• Engage in car pooling. Who the hell wants to travel alone any way.
• Plant trees. 
• Do not LITTER.
• Take a Shower instead of using bath tubs
• Talk/Blog/Read about saving our little planet the best way you know and bring the small things you have learnt to practise!

I am not sure if the mighty whales in the oceans are aware, but I did sign a petition to keep them safe from being extinct! :) Pour in your suggestions to me and I will post them with your name on it!
